🚨 ALLEGED SERIAL KILLER’S PHILADELPHIA MURDER TRIAL UNDERWAY 🚨
The Philadelphia murder trial of alleged serial killer Keith Gibson is set to begin today.
Prosecutors say Gibson is responsible for four murders committed across Philadelphia in 2021, in addition to two murders in Delaware for which he has already been convicted.
According to investigators, the killings began in January 2021 when Eric Flores and Roy Caban were found shot execution-style inside Al Madinah Traders in North Philadelphia.
Authorities also allege Gibson murdered his own mother, Christine Gibson, inside a community center office along Ridge Avenue just weeks later.
In June 2021, prosecutors say Gibson fatally shot Dunkin manager Christine Lugo during a robbery in North Philadelphia. The killing was captured on surveillance video and drew widespread attention.
Investigators say a firearm linked Gibson to all four Philadelphia murders.
According to prosecutors, a friend later contacted police after Gibson allegedly admitted to killing his mother for insurance money. That tip helped investigators identify him as a suspect.
Gibson was ultimately arrested in Delaware following another armed robbery at a Rite Aid, where police say he shot a store clerk.
He was later convicted in Delaware of two murders and multiple additional crimes and is currently serving seven life sentences.
Despite numerous courtroom disruptions over the years, Gibson has been ruled mentally competent to stand trial.
The Philadelphia trial is expected to determine whether he will also be held responsible for the four Philadelphia killings.
⚖️ Gibson is presumed innocent of the Philadelphia charges unless and until proven guilty in court.
🚨 HE RAPPED ABOUT PHILADELPHIA’S VIOLENCE. THEN HE BECAME A VICTIM OF IT. 🚨
Derrick Gant, better known as “Phat Geez,” was an aspiring Philadelphia rapper with a growing local following.
His music often reflected the realities of life in the city, including the violence that impacts so many neighborhoods.
But in March 2024, that violence came to his doorstep.
On March 17, 2024, Gant was outside his Brewerytown home when a silver sedan approached.
Moments later, gunfire erupted.
Investigators say Gant attempted to draw his own firearm in self-defense, but never had the chance to fire.
The entire attack was captured on Ring doorbell video.
Despite the footage and the passage of more than two years, no arrests have been announced and no one has been charged in connection with the killing.
Today, family members, friends, and supporters continue to search for answers.
Who killed Phat Geez?

If you watched COPS back in the day, there’s a good chance you’ve seen this one.
Philadelphia Highway Patrol Officers Hank Glenn and King Harris were working patrol in North Philadelphia when they received a bizarre call.

Officers arrived to find the naked intruder still inside the building while the homeowner remained outside.
Then things got even crazier.

🚨 FORMER BOUNCER CONVICTED IN FATAL PUNCH OUTSIDE PHILADELPHIA BAR 🚨
A Philadelphia jury has convicted a former bouncer of involuntary manslaughter in the 2022 death of a man outside a popular Center City bar.
On Wednesday, jurors found 27-year-old Kenneth Frye guilty in connection with the death of 41-year-old Eric Pope.
However, Frye was acquitted of the more serious charge of third-degree murder.
According to prosecutors, the incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. on April 16, 2022, outside Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar in Philadelphia’s Gayborhood.
Authorities say Pope had been escorted from the establishment due to his level of intoxication.
Prosecutors alleged that Frye, who was working security at the time, approached Pope and punched him in the face.
The punch allegedly knocked Pope unconscious, causing him to fall backward and strike his head on the pavement.
Pope was transported to Jefferson University Hospital, where he later died from blunt-force injuries to his head.
The case has spent years moving through the court system.
While a judge initially dismissed the third-degree murder charge, prosecutors appealed and successfully had the charge reinstated in 2024.
After hearing the evidence, jurors ultimately found Frye guilty of involuntary manslaughter and not guilty of third-degree murder.
Sentencing is scheduled for July 31.
⚖️ A jury has convicted Frye of involuntary manslaughter. He remains presumed innocent regarding any charges for which he was acquitted.
