THE BLOOD OF JESUS!
In 2010, I had been a Christian for two years and was just getting used to the fact that Jesus and Heaven were real! I knew nothing about spiritual warfare. My friend, Antoinette, was standing to the left of me in an almost empty apartment just outside of Southwest Philadelphia, where I was working in the last few days of finishing a three-week restoration job for a friend. Antoinette had stopped by to visit my worksite and I suddenly saw tears in her eyes, and she was shaking! I asked her what was wrong? She told me that she just right then received a message from the Lord, that I was going to renounce Jesus! I told her passionately, “I would never do that!” We went back and forth a few times proclaiming this same thing to each other, Antoinette stating that I would renounce Jesus, and me passionately stating that I would never do so! Antoinette paused in thought and prayer for a moment, sensing the Holy Spirit, and stated, “well, you have to be strong at the right time then, James!” I told her, “I will!” Antoinette repeated, and more strongly urging, “you have to be strong at the right time, James!! BE STRONG!!!” I assured Antoinette, “okay! I will BE STRONG!!!"
Antoinette suddenly received another message from the Lord, telling me, “you are going to be attacked!” This was a bad neighborhood, so I assumed that it had something to do with that. I told Antoinette, “if I stay here this evening, I'll jam the front door and windows!” Antoinette responded, “no, it (the attack) won’t be from that!” And it was left at that!
The next morning, I woke up in the apartment and was lying face down plastered to the bed from a thick spiritual darkness! A demon having a heavy weighted darkness was upon my entire entity! I had the sense of being paralyzed, not able to move but just a slight bit here or there, with the oppression so heavy and paralyzing that I did not even think about trying to escape and get up! I could only see darkness and greys, no color
s or light, and could taste and feel darkness in my mouth and down my throat! A set of rules were somehow ingrained within me - if I pushed away my Bible, which I was holding in my right hand, that meant that I renounced Jesus!!! The demon was infiltrating my mind using spells of witchcraft and vivid perversion while repeatedly promising women, s*x, alcohol, and that I would not have to go by God’s Word anymore, if I just pushed away my Bible - which would mean that I renounced Jesus!
As a new Christian, abstaining from s*x due to not being married was not that difficult anymore as I really wanted to honor God, and I loved and was in awe of Jesus and God’s Holy Spirit! I did not care about alcohol as I mostly never drank even before coming to Jesus. And the Lord’s Word was not a hindrance to me, I loved God’s Word! Although the offers were not enticing, what was breaking me was that I simply found myself having a hard time declining because the power of darkness was stronger than me!
Becoming mentally and physically drained by the moment, with such an intensity of darkness and the trauma of it - it seemed an impossible situation! I was clearly not able to stand up to the power of the devil’s demon that had engulfed me! Each moment that the demon was upon me was elongated! Each second was drawn out in a torture with all senses heightened as could be! The demon was taking the life out of me! I kept struggling - to not push away my Bible - simply because the demon was wearing me down to exhaustion after about ten minutes of his darkness holding me captive! It was too strong for me!
I was suffering and was no longer able to hold on! I was about to resign that I had no choice but to push my Bible away, which would mean that I renounced Jesus!!! Just about ready to push my Bible aside, suddenly ---- I had ‘indignation’ of this evil thing that was holding me down! Appalled at it! And unknowingly to me, from cover to cover of the Bible, Scripture reveals that this is one
of God’s outlooks toward evil, having ‘indignation’ of evil! And God wants, guides, and adamantly commands that His children have His same outlook of ‘indignation’ toward the devil, sin, and evil!
Lying there, consumed by a wicked angel of the enemy and nothing left to me, in a weakened state, but abruptly having developed indignation of evil (!!!) - the Lord rewarded my outlook and gave me newfound strength from His strength! I was then able to, with indignation and conviction, really meaning it, call out five times at the demon - “in Jesus’ blood get out of here! In Jesus’ blood get out of here! In Jesus’ blood get out of here! In Jesus’ blood get out of here! In Jesus’ blood get out of here!” The third time that I called out, “in Jesus’ blood get out of here,” the demon violently shook, which shook my body, and he screamed out in pain and took off quickly away from me!!! I sat up on the edge of the bed in shock and with incredulity at what happened! I could see light and colors again, and felt liberty by the power, blood, Glory, and mercy of Jesus our Lord and Savior!

THE MESSAGE OF JESUS AND THE CROSS!
The fact that Jesus was on a cross, makes it clear that this had to be for an extraordinary purpose! A message above all others, in highlighted emphasis from Genesis to Revelation, is the enlightenment of the message of Jesus and the cross, a Savior and Messiah needed, coming, arriving, and finishing what was needed for the importance of life past this lifetime!
People can teach and preach all over the Bible. But when they are not prioritizing and even 'consistently' skipping over JESUS AND LIFE - why even get out of bed in the morning - we would be dead and our loved ones and friends would be dead, and eternally dead, without the message of Jesus and the cross - for life past this lifetime!
If not for Jesus and the cross, no one would enter into God's Kingdom! The message of Jesus and the cross is a priority of the Father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God's Word! JESUS HUNG ON A CROSS! No one, who lived before or after Jesus on the cross, makes it to Heaven without God's power through the sacrifice and blood of Jesus at the cross!
The purpose of Jesus on the cross was both the sacrifice and blood of Jesus as instrumental for salvation.
The blood of Jesus is understood as paying the debt, ransom, and payment for sin - while the sacrifice of Jesus Himself is the complete act of redemption satisfying God's judgment for reconciliation and restoration of an eternal life and relationship - allowing the role of the sinner to confess faith in Jesus and repent their sins for eternal life - in the power and forgiveness of God! Faith and the repentance of sin are intertwined as one - as true faith has respect and accountability to the supreme Sovereign authority that is Almighty God!
Jesus, Jesus on a cross, and Jesus' blood shed for sin, IS NOT MOCKED AS NOT ENOUGH! No human pride and envy steals from Jesus, His blood, and His Glory - no one has the slightest contribution from their human effort to get to Heaven! A Christian's love for Jesus can become pained hearing human arrogance suggesting that they are working their way to Heaven - thinking that they will glorify themselves and steal from Jesus and God's Glory! Jesus did not come up short on the cross! Life past this lifetime, salvation, is 100% a gift from love's grace and mercy giving all Glory to God, in the magnitude of the sacrifice of Jesus and His blood shed on a cross! "Salvation is mine," God declares!
God promised eternal life, but God's children sin, which causes a debt and separation from God. Three roles were then needed to restore eternal life. Our Father's Holy love and wisdom offered His own Son Jesus for a sacrifice and His blood paying the debt of sin for His role to restore eternal life. The role of the Holy Spirit testifies 'truth' within someone for the ability to have faith - that Jesus is God, the Son of God, the Savior, and Messiah! Through God's Holy power - the only role remaining for the restoration of eternal life is for a sinner to confess the repentance of sin with faith in Jesus!
The message of Jesus and the cross is an eternal message. This includes with Jesus defeating sin, the enemy, and death - rising, resurrected, ascending, and confessing His redeemed and forgiven children to the Father - unto the Kingdom of Heaven - eternally giving ALL GLORY TO GOD!
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Humans then sinned, causing debt and separation from God. 1st John 3:4 Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
But love's grace and mercy overcame sin at God's expense! Genesis 3:15 And I (the Father) will put enmity (conflict) between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shall bruise his heel. (some harm would come to Jesus - but sin, death, and Satan would be destroyed). 1st John 3:8 He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Sinner on a cross next to Jesus: Luke 23:41-43 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds (repentance): but this man (Jesus) has done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, (faith) remember me when thou comes into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shall thou be with me in paradise.
Jesus, completing the redemptive atonement for sin, is recorded in John 19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, it is finished: and he bowed his head and gave up the ghost.
1st Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish, foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Luke 13:3 I (Jesus) tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. 1st John 1:7-9 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the Holy forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. Matthew 26:28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:13,14 Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His Dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
1st John 5:10 He that believes (faith) on the Son of God has the witness (the Holy Spirit) in himself: he that believes not God has made him a liar; because he believes not the record that God gave of his Son. 1st Corinthians 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.
Titus 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs through Jesus Christ our Savior. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Psalm 3:8 Salvation belongs unto the Lord: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
Genesis 15:6 And he (Abraham) believed (faith) in the Lord; and he counted it to him for righteousness. John 10:30 I (Jesus) and my Father are one. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:36 He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him. John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believes in him shall receive remission of sins. Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shall be saved, and thy house. Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Romans 11:32 For God has concluded them all (Jews and Gentiles) in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Father, in the name of Jesus, I repent all sins, please forgive me. In faith, I embrace you Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Guide me to
do your will and glorify you. Amen.
Please forward this message of eternal life to those needing it.

Devotional: The critical need of repentance!
Repentance is critical for survival - it is not just one of many important things to do! Jesus is the Spirit of life. And when we sin, we sin against Jesus, the Spirit of life, and the power to sustain our life past this lifetime! Jesus is seeking eternal relationships of love, and His children need to be accountable for sinning, repent, and in faith, respect Jesus for who He is.
Scripture reveals that without faith in Jesus, which is intertwined with the repentance of sin, is to perish and not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
A physical church in the flow and anointing of the Holy Spirit, Word, will, and eternal plan of God teaches salvation and life past this lifetime as a Holy guided divine priority! There could be nothing more important than being saved from the spirit of death, which we all have at the point of even just one sin!
A church infiltrated by the spirit of the devil, death, and the anti-Christ mentions Jesus just to hide their true desire of power and glory for themselves. But is noticeable as they consistently steer clear of messages of life that they cannot bear - such as Jesus and the cross, the blood of Jesus, repentance, faith, salvation, the resurrection, the Kingdom of Heaven, glorifying God, and the Glory of God!
Churches having a hidden seducing spirit of the anti-Christ will camouflage themselves and mention Jesus only enough times to make it appear that they worship the Lord and not themselves - but would be pained if they were on the spot to lead someone to repentance, faith, salvation, and the worship of Jesus and not themselves. Repentance is so critical that the devil goes to great lengths to sway and seduce as many people and churches as possible from speaking of its absolute necessity!
The pride and envy of the devil and like-minded humans are slick, sly, and cunning on their crusade of themselves as independent false gods - subtly propping up, bringing attention to, and promoting elitism of themselves directly and by the abusive denigration of others! Luke, who penned the books of Luke and Acts through God’s Holy Spirit, brought no attention to himself. Luke gave all attention to where churches of the Spirit of Christ also prioritize - guiding people to begin a relationship with Jesus through repentance and faith, in the worship and glorifying of God in Jesus, yielding forgiveness, salvation, and entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven!
The Spirit and Word reveal an immensity of love in acts that Jesus has given to restore His children’s eternal life and give the amazing blessings that await in Heaven - with God’s love also reflective from how easy that a sinner’s role is for the restoration of eternal life. Jesus is only seeking sincere relationships of love that include a desire to turn from sin, in respect and faith for who Jesus is - Lord and Savior!
In the denial of respect for Jesus, is respect for sin and being subject to the spirit of death. The Holy love of Jesus lays it all on the line to save His children. This includes sacrificing His actual self. Recorded from Genesis to Revelation - our Holy Father's Word enlightens, urges, and guides sinners to repent and come to His forgiveness and eternal love, light, and life in Holy Jesus Christ!
1st John 4:2-4 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Revelation 3:5 He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man {male and female} hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
1st John 2:1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father - Jesus Christ, the Righteous:
Jesus revealed in John 3:36 He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.
Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Luke 13:3 I (Jesus) tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I repent all sins. Please forgive me. In faith, I embrace you Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Guide me to do your will to deservingly glorify you for the rest of my life. Amen.
James Rathman: Deliverance Ministry
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I repent all of my sins. Please forgive me. I embrace you Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Amen.
Devotional: Your sin and death converted unto life!
Isaiah 6:3 And one (Seraphim Angel) cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
No one steals from God's Glory! Glory did not come up short on the cross, God forbid - and human pride cannot work their way to Heaven and steal from Glory. Works are evidence "of" faith.
Glory's absolute love, the presence and power of God, is the only one who can convert your sins unto life and Glory.
Sin is debt and death. But your Father's loving grace and mercy paid the price of your sins with the needed blood of a sinless Lamb! Therefore, your faith and repentance can bring you unto the Holy power of eternal life and Glory. Glory's love includes your life rising within the Spirit of the Lamb of God, Holy Jesus Christ!
Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before your Throne as a sinner and repent all my sins. Please forgive me. In faith, I embrace and accept you Jesus as my Lord and Savior - resurrected in Glory. Your love gave me life, and then your love gave your life to save and heal me. In gratitude, my love for you gives my life to serve you. Guide me the rest of the days of my life to do your will. Guide me in your testimony of repentance and faith - for other sinners to be converted from sin and death unto your eternal life and Glory! Amen.
