Philadelphia Neighborhood Networks - PNN

Today’s Tioga Community Cleanup, part of Project Beloved Community, really showed what it looks like when neighbors take pride in where we live. A cleaner community is a safer community, and you could feel that energy out there today. The weather was perfect, we talked with folks along the way, and we started at 20th & Tioga before making our way through the neighborhood. We wrapped up with some pizza and good conversation.

Big thanks to Hope Tioga Garden and their volunteers for welcoming us, and big thanks to everyone who came out and put in the work. This is how we build a stronger community together.

Philadelphia Neighborhood Networks stands with Councilmembers Kendra Brooks and Rue Landau in calling for real accountability and real safety. ICE has no place tearing apart Philly families. This hearing is a chance for our city to choose community care over fear - and we need everyone who believes in dignity and due process to show up and support it.
