Larger than any company currently in the S&P 500. At launch.

We're not here to tell you whether to buy it. That depends entirely on your situation.

What we do want to talk about is what a valuation like this actually requires:

At $18.7B in trailing revenue, investors are paying 94.7x sales. For context, Tesla, which trades at its own Elon premium, sits at 14.8x. The S&P 500 average is around 3.3x.

If SpaceX's multiple compressed to Tesla's level over the next decade, shareholders would need the company to grow revenue at roughly 20% annually just to break even. Closer to 45% annually to see 20% returns.

That's not impossible. Analysts are projecting ~$160B in revenue by 2028. The business has real growth drivers.

But launching at the highest valuation of any public company in history leaves very little room for error.

High-growth IPOs deserve serious analysis, not just excitement.
