This past weekend, part of our team attended the 48th Biennial Clergy and Laity Conference for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America in Cleveland Ohio, and shared about Trauma Healing! The conference saw parishioners from across the archdiocese gather to celebrate ministry, share resources, and spend time in community.
Our team was honored to join in the conversation and share Trauma Healing resources with those present. As Jay Baylor, our North America Regional Coordinator, shared: "God moves toward us in the midst of tragedy. The church can be a safe place for healing. What a privilege to come alongside the church!"

We’re grateful to share some reflections from our time together as Trauma Healing facilitators at the South Pacific Community of Practice gathering.
🌱 Our pain does not determine our future—God’s restoration does.
🌱 God is strong enough to handle our honesty about our pain.
🌱 The trauma we have experienced is part of our story, but it is not the end of the story.
🌱 Even in the midst of pain, God is still at work in us.
🌱 As healing group facilitators, we don’t need to have all the answers. What people need most is a safe space where healing can begin.
🌱 We are not the healers—God is. We are simply His vessels.
One of the greatest gifts of gathering together is the reminder that we never stop learning and growing as facilitators. We encourage one another, share our experiences, pray together, and continually seek God’s wisdom as we serve those on the journey toward healing. Bible Society of the South Pacific
