Good morning! A beautiful start to the day at Cooper River Park, but it’s going to get hot today! We’re expecting temperatures in the 90’s today and tomorrow.
WATCH: A wrecking ball was used to demolish the partially collapsed parking garage in Grays Ferry. The demolition began at 7:06 Sunday morning and within an hour most of the structure was knocked down. The materials used to build the structure will be removed today in order for a technical rescue team to recover the two bodies of the Ironworkers.
TODAY: Demolition will continue at the parking structure in Grays Ferry that partially collapsed on Wednesday. A wrecking ball demolished the stairwell and elevator shaft on Saturday, and crews will focus on the parking structure on Sunday before recovering the two Ironworkers.
