3 сакавіка прадстаўнікі суполкі Belarus Freedom – Philadelphia правялі рабочую сустрэчу ў офісе кангрэсмэна ЗША Браяна Фіцпатрыка.
Мэтай сустрэчы было абмеркаванне важных пытанняў, звязаных з Беларуссю і беларускай супольнасцю ў Злучаных Штатах. Сярод асноўных тэм былі:�— сітуацыя з палітычнымі зняволенымі ў Беларусі�— неабходнасць працягваць міжнародны ціск на рэжым Лукашэнкі�— праблемы беларускіх шукачоў прытулку, якія знаходзяцца ў іміграцыйным утрыманні ў ЗША
Мы таксама прапанавалі кангрэсмэну разгледзець магчымасць далучэння да Congressional Belarus Caucus, які займаецца пытаннямі Беларусі ў Кангрэсе ЗША, і запрасілі яго прыняць удзел у святкаванні Дня Волі 2026 у Філадэльфіі.
Падобныя сустрэчы з прадстаўнікамі ўлады маюць вялікае значэнне для беларускай дыяспары. Яны дазваляюць даносіць інфармацыю пра сітуацыю ў Беларусі, абараняць інтарэсы супольнасці і падтрымліваць увагу да тэмы правоў чалавека і дэмакратыі.
Мы будзем працягваць працу і падтрымліваць пастаянны дыялог з дзяржаўнымі інстытуцыямі ЗША.

On March 3, representatives of Belarus Freedom – Philadelphia held a meeting at the office of U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss key issues related to Belarus and the Belarusian community in the United States. The main topics included:�— the situation of political prisoners in Belarus�— the need to maintain international pressure on the Lukashenko regime�— Belarusian asylum seekers currently held in U.S. immigration detention
We also encouraged the Congressman to consider joining the Congressional Belarus Caucus, which focuses on Belarus-related issues in Congress, and invited him to attend the Belarus Freedom Day 2026 celebration in Philadelphia.
Such meetings are important for the Belarusian diaspora. They help bring attention to the situation in Belarus, advocate for the community, and keep human rights and democracy issues visible in Washington.
We will continue working to maintain dialogue with U.S. institutions and ensure that Belarusian voices are heard.
