MEET THE THERAPIST —>
My name is Max [pronouns: he/him] and I am the owner of Inclusive Voice Therapy. My passion for the voice began when I was just a little kid singing in school choirs. I discovered who I am and developed my own voice over the past 10 years with the help of some really great mentors and teachers.
Fast forward to graduate school and I have the opportunity to do an externship in voice. I had no clue what to expect, but after the first patient on the first day, I knew I was where I needed to be. I was going to be able to guide others to their true voices and play a part in healing voices in need of repair.
I graduated and did my Clinical Fellowship at a nursing home, but longed to get back to doing more voice. I felt like I was able to develop my clinical skillsets and improve my clinical decision making, but there was a missing piece.
Today, my day job is at a busy outpatient otolaryngology clinic. One day, I hope to transition to private practice full time, but one step at a time!
.
In my free time, I enjoy all things outdoors including hiking, trail running, cycling, and skiing as well as spending time with my partner, Richie, and our dogs Lucy & Bruiser.
