Last summer, we got married, and this summer we began our long honeymoon in New Zealand where we got to see some of our favorite movie sets, filming locations, and even the props workshop from the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies. Then we spent some time in Australia, hoofing it through the Blue Mountains, and finally a brief stop in Hawaii, with just enough time to see some more movie sets from Jurassic Park. Seven year old me who saw Jurassic Park in theaters four times (including at a drive-in!) is living his dream. I never imagined I'd get to see so many beautiful places with my beautiful wife by my side, just as excited together.

We've had a long, incredible summer already and it's not even over yet! After a truly trying and painful school year that included the death of my father, and the death of Emily's grandmother, we're very fortunate we are able to travel, even if we will no longer be able to share our adventure tales with some of our lost loved ones.

Our combined losses made me not want to post anything for a long time Traveling has kept me busy. I'm enjoying spending real time with the people I love doing the things I love.

Anyone have any idea how to find a literary agent? What is that process even like?
