As we worship and work with Obátalà today, let us remember the importance of balance, collaboration, community and nation building. Obátalà implores us to see beyond the veil of illusion and judgement. He needs for us to observe the sacred fabric that ties and binds all of humanity and nature in general. Irunmole all work together to help us navigate our best destiny along this journey called life. Obátalà uniqueness is that he created Iwa Pele or good character from the calabash of Igba Iwa. Through our greatest practice and tradition at it’s highest expression we will embody and model this gentle character in the likeness of our maker Obátalà.
