Return of the Griots;

Introducing the electrifying and inspiring event During - Create Motivate Inspire Global: Return of the Griots! On December 22th, 2023, witness a showcase of contemporary artists from Ghana and the United States at one of the most beautiful galleries Ghana has to offer. This event curated by Jason Acquaye features works from world-renowned artists like Kwaku Genfi, King Saladeen, Khays Pencil and more. This event will be at hosted in Kwaku Genfi’s gallery that he hand crafted himself.

Return of the Griots is a celebration of oral history and the tradition of west African artistry, hosted by , creator and founder of Vip Unlocked and host of MTV Base Africa and Marketing Queen. With a focus on highlighting Ghana’s fine art industry and educating on the rich history of art and culture, this event is a must-see.

But this event is more than just a showcase of incredible art. In 2021, the F.I.R.E.

team (Free Inspiration Reaching Everyone) renovated and painted a basketball court at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and the Tudu Lebanon house, where they held their first basketball tournament. They also donated over 7000 items, including sneakers, books, school supplies, clothing, and laptops, and set up two computer labs in the Volta Region schools in Kedzi, Keta, and Anyako communities.
