I love my job!

Drawing great expressions out of my human and animal clients and capturing them at their best has been the most thrilling challenge I have ever taken on, and always keeps me laughing!

I started stealing my parents' camera to run off into the woods when I was in elementary school, and was instantly hooked! An amazing high school photo teacher introduced me to historical photo processes, and I have been obsessed with photography, art history and historical processes ever since! I graduated from NYU with a degree in photography and digital imaging in 2001, started out as a freelance photojournalist and assisting other photographers, always learning along the way, and opened Devon John Photography in 2003. I have been so lucky to be able to make my life's passion into my full-time gig.

I adore working with all the pets, families, couples and small business owners I've met, and I am always excited to take on the next challenge!
