Today is National Girl Scout Day. On this day in 1912, Juliette Gordon Low held the first Girl Scout troop meeting. Today, there are over 2.7 million girls, women, troop leaders and volunteers that participate in the Girl Scout organization.
I would like to thank Girl Scouts for giving me the opportunity to create Project Read. I would not have created the library without support from the Girl Scouts. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to do this for my community. I will never forget doing my Gold Award.
Thank you Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania!
