We are so excited to join Swarthmore College tomorrow for their community wellness day! PJE’s mission is to grow judo in Philadelphia, so having the chance to share what judo is with new faces helps us to boost this sport that we love so much.

We are committed to growing judo in Philadelphia through multiple paths, including judo-related education for the community. We have some ideas, but we would love your feedback so that we plan workshops that are meaningful to you! Please take a minute to check out our planning survey in our bio. It will be worth it! 🫶

Do you want to be a part of the magic? We welcome volunteers to help with events, special projects, and other initiatives to help grow judo in Philly. See the Volunteer Info link in our bio to join us!

With the goal of growing judo in the Philadelphia area our non-profit is looking for your support so that we can provide scholarships to underprivileged students, access to clinics from Olympic and World level athletes, as well as opportunities to compete locally and internationally for competitors from the area. We are interested in grant suggestions, connections with those who may be able to provide event support, Olympians interested in providing local clinics, as well as monetary support from individuals who are excited to contribute to aid with making judo more accessible to those in the area who have a passion for judo but may not have the funds to access it fully.
We look forward to the support of our community in the coming years so that we can foster growth, love, and a a greater exposure to judo in the Philadelphia region!
