MRAC is excited to announce Fiber Arts Night, starting June 17. Bring your current project and join other fiber enthusiasts every third Wednesday from 7-9pm! Yarn, felting, embroidery, whatever tickles your fancy, come and be inspired in our gallery space. All are welcome!

Join us at MRAC tomorrow, Sunday, May 31 from 1:00-4:00 pm for the closing reception of our May Members Show! There will be light refreshments, and the event is free and open to the public.

We are so thrilled that MRAC is included on Roxborough’s Bell! Bells across PA is a statewise art exhibition in partnership with America250PA and Mural Arts Philadelphia that showcases 27 custom painted Liberty Bell replicas across the state, 24 of which are right here in Philadelphia! Artists connected with community members to capture the spirit and identity of each neighborhood.

The Roxborough Bell is called 19128: A Place with Roots. Using vibrant colors to connect illustrations of the community’s past and present, artist Meghan Turbitt invokes the Roxborough neighborhood’s layers of history and connection, featuring natural scenes from Wissahickon Valley Park alongside images depicting the neighborhood’s proud working-class roots.
