CONGRATULATIONS to our first graduating UpSkill Philly cohort at the Philadelphia Dept of Revenue!
The past 6 months have been truly amazing. I have witnessed such professional growth within this group and I’m honored that what I taught fell on listening and open ears. Cohort 1 will always have a special place in my heart!

These moments represent the intersection of my work through both Hillcrest Development & Consulting and Linked Family Services .

Through Hillcrest, I train and develop the professionals, leaders, and frontline staff working across child welfare, behavioral health, nonprofit, healthcare, childcare, and government systems. Through Linked Family Services, we support many of the families impacted by those same systems every day.

The work goes hand in hand.
Stronger leadership. Healthier workplace culture. Better communication. Workforce wellness. More aligned systems. All of those things directly impact how families experience care and support.

That’s why I’m passionate about leadership development, workforce training, cross-sector collaboration, and implementation-focused strategy — because supporting communities also means supporting the people doing the work.

Grateful for the opportunity to serve as the closing keynote speaker for ’s Empowering Nonprofits Conference . Thank you to Kim Solano and Rebecca Bieber for the invitation, your support throughout the entire process, and for creating such a thoughtful and impactful experience.

From the workshops, to the conversations, to the connections being made in real time — this conference was truly something special.

It meant a lot to be back at Temple, my alma mater, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Social Work and built the foundation for the work I get to do today.

To everyone who stayed for the keynote, engaged in the conversation, raised hands, stood up, and connected with me afterwards — thank you. I hope what I shared about systems, cross-sector partnership, and designing how systems collide in a way that builds resiliency resonates in your work and within your organizations.

Because the goal isn’t to prevent systems from colliding… It’s to design how they collide.

Looking forward to more rooms like this.

Let’s be honest…

A lot of founders are carrying the full weight of their organization —
while their board is unclear, underutilized, or just… present.

Your board should not be a formality.
It should be a strategic asset.

If you’re trying to figure out:
• Who to bring on
• What roles they should actually play
• How to activate them

This room is for you.
