Here’s your Tuesday tip! Get a “pick-up bin” for your house. It can be a bin, basket, bag, etc. - really anything you can put stuff in. Then at the end of the day, pick-up everything that needs to be re-homed in your house.

I use ours mainly for toys that end up in our living room or upstairs in the bedrooms. My son knows that when we say clean up, things go in the pick-up bin so they can be put back in the playroom. It’s also a different color than the other bins we have.

The same concept can be used for things that accumulate in your main living space but need to go upstairs or back to bedrooms. Once everything is put in the bin, it is so easy to redistribute to their appropriate “homes” in your house!
