A heartfelt thank you to The Attic Youth Center and Nedeen Herring (she/her), Director of their Bryson Institute, for leading our annual LGBTQIA+ training for all Covenant House PA staff.
While June may be Pride Month, every day is Pride at Covenant House. Last year, 51% of the young people we served identified as LGBTQ+. And did you know that LGBTQ+ youth are 120% more likely to experience homelessness than their cisgender, heterosexual peers?
Training like this helps ensure every young person who walks through our doors is met with the affirming, trauma-informed care they deserve.
Thank you for helping us create a space where all youth are welcomed with absolute respect, unconditional love, and relentless support. 💙🏳️🌈

We're thrilled to celebrate our CEO, Alexia Clarke, on being named to the 2026 Philadelphia TITAN 100.
The TITAN 100 recognizes the region's top CEOs and C-suite executives who are making a lasting impact through their leadership, vision, and commitment to strengthening our communities.
For those who know Alexia, this honor comes as no surprise. Every day, she leads with heart, purpose, and a deep commitment to ensuring young people experiencing homelessness and human trafficking have the support they need to thrive.
As Covenant House PA celebrates 25 years of opening doors for young people, we're proud to see Alexia recognized among Philadelphia's most influential leaders.
Please join us in congratulating Alexia on this well-deserved honor.
At 18, Nicole was homeless, alone, and unsure what came next.
Then she walked into Covenant House PA.
What she found was more than shelter. She found stability, community, unconditional love and adults who believed in her future when she struggled to believe in it herself.
Today, she holds a bachelor's degree in public health from an Ivy League school, a master's degree in palliative care, and works at the University of Pennsylvania. She returned to Kensington to serve the same community she was once part of.
Nicole says: "There is a young person tonight who will find themselves alone and unsheltered for the first time. Because of supporters like you, they may also find the safety and support of Covenant House PA."
Her story is one of more than 57,000 young people served by Covenant House PA over the past 25 years.
Watch her story. Then help us ensure the next young person finds hope, too. Join us: www.covenanthouseevents.org/PA25th
