Posters! Posters! Posters! The summer is flying by and I’ve been having so much fun working up new designs for some of my favorite flicks. Just wrapped up this bad boy for Alien. Pretty proud of two design choices. 1.) The xenomorph is based on the toy (1979, Kenner) and the background was inspired by H.R. Giger’s work on the film. Be sure to check out the screening ! Couldn’t be more excited to share the finish and process on this poster design. This was an absolute honor and pleasure to work on. Full disclose - as a kid I had a plush King Kong doll from the movie. Carried it around with me like Eddie Munster and his werewolf. Explains a whole lot about me.
