Emily Flanders ’26, a Community Health and Prevention major with a minor in Maternal and Child Health at the Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University, partnered with Philadelphia nonprofit A Book A Day to help expand access to books in local neonatal intensive care units (NICUs).

Her experience highlighted the power of community-centered public health initiatives in supporting early childhood development and family well-being.
