“The Washington House” Sellersville PA
Wedding gift for a friend married there last weekend.
Washington House
Originally a mid‑1700s farmhouse on a Lenape trail, Washington House evolved into a licensed tavern in the mid‑19th century, survived Prohibition, the Liquor service continued despite the ban; federal agents destroyed the original wooden bar, although the historic back bar with numbered drawers remains intact. The building has since been beautifully restored into a restaurant and boutique hotel adjacent to a live‑music theater in Sellersville.
