Drexel University is currently implementing its 2012-2017 Campus Master Plan. Stay tuned for updates! Drexel’s Master Plan follows four primary principles:

Demolition is in progress at Drexel’s Korman Center in preparation for creating a temporary entrance to be used while the expansion of the Korman Center lobby is under construction:

Construction is in progress in Drexel’s largest teaching auditorium. The following image shows provisions for access to the stage. Seating is scheduled to arrive September 6th:

The latest in a series of improvements to Drexel’s Daskalakis Athletic Center is in progress. The goal over the years has been to create an intimate arena with the features of a professional venue. This year’s biggest improvement: air conditioning.

Drexel’s Paul Peck Alumni Center was originally the Centennial Bank Building, designed by architect Frank Furness and built in 1876. It is pictured here in 1963. Directly across the street was the West Philadelphia train station, which occupied the Firestone site soon after Drexel Institute opened. There it remained until 1931. Drexel was a transportation-oriented campus from its beginning.
