Homeless Advocacy Project

We are thrilled to announce our 2026 Annual Benefit! On October 28, we will return to our friends at the African American Museum in Philadelphia for a night of networking, food, and fun. The benefit begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m. During the evening, attendees can participate in our basket raffle as well as our 50/50 raffle.

The theme for the evening will be “Advocating for a Better Future,” celebrating our work to forge a more just, safe, and stable future for people experiencing or at imminent risk of homelessness in Philadelphia. Part of the program for the evening will honor champions who make this work possible.

Congrats to Brittany on a year at HAP! Brittany is one of our SOAR paralegals, who came to HAP with 4 years of legal service experience and it shows. Brittany’s cool and straight forward approach has helped 9 HAP clients experiencing homelessness obtain their disability benefits, helping them get the financial assistance they need. She is also a vital member of our DEI committee. HAPpy First!! 🎉
