My name is Marisa Gretz and I am a doctoral student at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) collecting data for my dissertation. This online, survey-based study will evaluate the relationship between a sense of connection, the use of social media, and depression in graduate students.
To participate, you must be a U.S. graduate student in good academic standing and have no diagnosis of depression. This is an anonymous and voluntary study, and you can drop out at any time. The survey will take about 30 minutes. Individuals who complete the study will be offered the chance to enter a raffle for one of three $25 Amazon gift cards.

January 26th:
5-6 PM: Intersection between PM&R, The Disabled and You Being of Service - Dr. James Lipton, DO, will provide an orientation to those interested in a PM&R career on helping the disabled and fostering personal and professional growth in this arena.

6-6:30 PM: OMM and Disabilities Panel - Dr. Lipton will be joined by Dr. Golden and Dr. Ehrenfeuchter from the PCOM Georgia campus.

7-7:30 PM: OMT for Non-Ambulatory MS Patients - Dr. Alberto Giardini, DO, the current ONMM resident at PCOM, will discuss the use of OMT for the disabled community.

7:30-8 PM: Osteopathic Acupuncture for Disabled Patients - Dr. Alexander King, DO graduated from the ONMM residency at PCOM last year and now works for the Shin Center of Integrative Sports Medicine in Cherry Hill, NJ. He will discuss his paper on acupuncture for disabled patients.
