[Summer light fades up. SFX forest sounds. Tree shadows.
ALEX asleep on ground. Wakes, stretches. Pain, stiffness.]
ALEX: Ahhhh. F**k. Cold.
[Shivers terribly. Ferrets thru pockets. Pulls out food.]
ALEX: [To food.] How old are you? Don’t care.
[Wolfs food. Drinks messily from brook.]
ALEX: [Gags. Spits. Lots] Ack! That is the worst fu***ng - !ack!
Disgusting.Tastes like ass. Jesus. JESUS.
[Noise in. Ominous.]
ALEX: [Very scared. Snarls/growls animal-like.] Don’t you dare.
Don’t even… Ack!! [Spits again.] `
[Ominous sound again.]
ALEX: [Snarls again] Come on you fu***ng- YOU BASTARD. Come on.
COME ON!!!
[Long beat. Then nothing.]
ALEX: [Huge breath. Shudder.] Cold. What the f**k just happened..?
Did I snarl? I don’t snarl… What the f**k am I.. [Sobs, scared.]
[They remove glasses. Throws up on glasses. Fear.
A FIGURE enters.]
ALEX: Ahh! No. Ahhhhhh! No. [Crying & shying away.]
[FIGURE pushes ALEX over,
takes their shoes. Exits.]

and 2 shorter bits: A Note on Shakespeare and Girls.
A famous writer arrives in a country in turmoil. He plans to join a political protest. A scared young woman is desperate for help. Her brother has been disappeared. Another woman waits to interroview the writer. Her english? Odd. She’s so bouncy & happy. And chatty. Things get sticky.. is this a honey trap? The situation starts to stink…
