Some people think In-House Softball is about teaching girls how to play the game so they’re ready if they decide to move on to travel ball someday.

But it’s about so much more than that.

It’s about watching a season of childhood fly by way too fast.

It’s about seeing the smile after that first hit without a tee.

It’s about watching confidence grow with every catch, every throw, and every time a player steps up to the plate.

It’s about a shy kid finding her voice.

It’s about learning to be a teammate, encouraging others, and celebrating each other’s successes.

And sometimes, it’s about ending the season with a water balloon fight and making memories they’ll talk about long after the final score is forgotten.

Congratulations to our Yellow and Black In-House Softball teams on wrapping up a fantastic season tonight. Thank you to the coaches, families, and players who made it so special.
