Meghan is partnering with to explore the use of beekeeping as a nature-based approach to support the mental health and well-being of older adults. The project integrates occupational therapy principles with guided beekeeping experience to facilitate mindfulness, skill development, and connection with nature and peers. The Visionary Scholarship supports doctoral students who are committed to engaging in research that builds knowledge about health, well-being, and opportunities for people and their communities.
