The beginning of 2020 was great fun for Tango Café. The beautiful Society Hill Dance Academy, home to our milonga, welcomed over 190 dancers with our amazing Roaring 20s Milonga in January, and in February 2020 guest DJ Jorge Fernández kept us dancing for hours. That was our last milonga; and although Covid-19 has kept us on hiatus for over a year now, we remain in love with the dance. Tango Café, along with others in the Philadelphia tango community, will resume milongas and on-location activities when it is safe to do so. We continue to support all efforts to continue building a strong, safe and vibrant tango community for all. Stay tuned for future updates. Be well and stay safe. We shall embrace again.
