Good Morning Familia 💖 It is with a heavy heart that I write this message. I have been silently battling my inner war with Mental Illness. As someone who has experienced complex trauma throughout my entire life, my mental health suffered tremendously. I am currently in the process of enrolling into an intensive outpatient therapy program but my insurance alone does not cover the cost. Through this year long program I would have access to 24/7 mental health support to aid me in my journey to recovery. It feels selfish to ask for something so big during a traumatic and disgusting political climate. However, I believe that this treatment can change the course of my life. If you are at a space to donate please do and if not, please give it a share any amount helps and the money raised will go directly into my treatment program, medication co-pays, and assist with a future move of mine. I have dedicated 10+ years of community activism, education, and community organizing in the Greater Philadelphia community and I want to get the treatment and support that I deserve.
