As semiquincentennial festivities mark 2026, the Penn Museum joins the 250th anniversary celebrations with year-round happenings. Don't miss free community events along with thought-provoking talks, tours, and films highlighting Indigenous perspectives that offer nuance and complexity to our nation's evolving story.

We’re excited to partner with Wharton Community Engagement to bring you an indoor/outdoor summer festival celebrating community, culture, and freedom.

As we celebrate America’s 250th year, we honor Philadelphia’s rich history while centering vibrant communities whose voices keep its stories and heritage alive.

Expect an action-packed day of happenings in the Penn Museum's gardens and galleries—from health and wellness fairs to live performances and artist talks. Plus, cultural happenings for all ages:

🔹 Double Dutch, line dancing, step, and spoken word
