Thanks to a transformative $132K gift from Alfred Street Baptist Church, 11 graduating seniors at Saint Augustine’s University will walk across the stage debt-free this Friday.

In the face of rising student debt and the uphill battles HBCUs face, this act of “irrational generosity” is more than a donation—it’s a declaration of faith, justice, and the power of community.

We honor the legacy of Alfred Street, the advocacy of alumni like Gilbert and Carolyn Knowles, and the perseverance of every student who never gave up.

🎓 Future Doctor Alert! 🩺✨ - Meet Aniya Diggs, a proud Xavier University of Louisiana grad and Foot Locker Foundation Scholar through UNCF!

A cm laude graduate with a B.S. in Chemistry, Aniya is now on the path to earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree by 2027. Her goals? Drug development, research, and making a global impact in the pharmaceutical industry 💊🌍

From the lab to leadership, Aniya is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and recently attended the 2024 On Our Feet Gala in NYC! 👠🗽
