To Our Wildfire Softball Moms:

From dawn’s early light at the tournament field,
To the very last out, you never would yield.
With a chair and a cooler, you’re always right there.
The ultimate fan, showing passion and care.
You brave the hot sun and the early cold mornings,
Cheering me on, giving loud, loving warnings.
You wash all the dirt from my pants and my knee,
And teach me to play with grit, passion, and glee.
For the rides to the games, and the snacks that you bring,
For being my coach, my fan, and my everything.
Life throws many curves, but with you I’m ready,
My heart and my courage, you always keep steady.
