owes me nothing!!! So much gratitude for the vision, the films, the community, the celebration, and the sharing of BIPOC love and support in such perilous times as these. BlackStar is a space of imaging and imagining, of storytelling and world-building, of learning, growing and expanding. Shout out to the entire crew for all you do to make this amazing festival possible!

As I’ve been sharing in my story, I’m super excited to be a vendor at the illustrious Bazaar this Saturday August 3 from 12-7pm. Thank you Shanti darling for including me!
Not only is this a space where art and activism are one, but the beauty, style and culture witnessed there is top tier! Plus my baby works there so I’m a loud and proud BlackStar mom!
This annual event has inspired me to pull out some of my classic designs and of course create some new things for y’all! You’ll have to come see what I got😉 Open to the public but I really hope y’all will catch an indie film or two. They are available in person and virtually at BlackStarFest.org.
