Following the "24 Sekki" and "Zassetsu" calendars, Japan is approaching Seimei (清明), the time in April when the skies are bright and clear, and cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
During this season, both Kirishima Tea Farm and the Harimaen Seicha, the farms behind Morihata Tea and Matcha, are busy tending to tea plants to ensure a successful harvest in the coming month.
The zassetsu calendar also makes room for tea harvesting, just in time for Japan's Matcha Day and Hachijyu-Hachiya's lucky harvest.
