Philadelphia City Repair Project

The team who brings our work to life 🌟 We wanted to take a moment to reintroduce ourselves as we welcome a lot of new followers to our page! We are Philly City Repair Project, a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to building a more sustainable Philadelphia 📣 We believe that the people should be designing and shaping the spaces and streets they live in! That all neighborhoods should be thriving with beautiful, safe green spaces where they can know their neighbors and grow healthy food and communities together 🌱🪻🥕🫜🌻🥒🍅

We currently support a network of 20 community gardens and greenspaces! We work together to support volunteer efforts in the gardens, provide workshops, and material and infrastructure needs 🪏🧱🪚

We recently launched Philly Tree Repair which seeks to support our urban forest with neglected tree maintenance, tree education, and tree plantings 🌳🌳🌳

We’re always welcoming volunteers to participate in our workdays and events. All ages and family friendly with no prior skills required! So if any of this work interests you, come meet us in the gardens ✨
