Congratulations to Joe Khan on this historic win!

Not only is Joe the first Asian-American elected countywide in Bucks County and the first to be elected District Attorney in Pennsylvania — Joe is also the first Democratic District Attorney to be elected in Bucks County since the 1800s!

We could not be more proud of Joe, his campaign, and how he sought to uplift our immigrant communities. We look forward to following his work ahead and wish him success in making Bucks County a safer and fairer place for everyone!

I am also proud to be the first Asian-American to be elected countywide in Bucks County (and the first to be elected District Attorney anywhere in Pennsylvania).

What’s most important is that I will not be the last. Thank you to Impact Indian American, APIPA, Emgage, Second Generation, and the other allies who stood with me to do the work uplifting all communities so that we have a government that stands up for everyone.

Today we are proud to announce our endorsement of Joe Khan for Pennsylvania Attorney General!

The son of a Pakistani engineer who came to America to build bridges, Joe is a lifelong advocate of bringing communities together and creating a more representative Pennsylvania government. As a father and experienced attorney, Joe not only understands the issues facing Pennsylvanians, but also how to best overcome them.

Pennsylvania deserves an Attorney General who will stand up for abortion rights, public safety, housing justice, environmental rights, and accountability for corporate and political corruption — and with so much at stake this election, we need to ensure our AG’s Office is led by the most capable candidate. We need a leader like Joe who is respected across the commonwealth as both a forward-thinking County Solicitor and a reform-minded prosecutor.
