GM FBF.........I'm sadden to the passing of my dear Brother and TRUE FRIEND..........TONY 'TNT" JONES. This one hurts deeply, as we go all the way back from KINDERGARTEN to Barratt Jr. High School and beyond. TONY, Arnet 'AJ' Diggs and myself studied Bass at Barratt Jr. High and enjoyed it immensely.
TONY played for some of The World's most accomplished Artists, from NORMAN CONNORS to NINA SIMONE and so many other's Worldwide. But most importantly, TONY always left you with a SMILE on your face and a positive reflection on life.
You will be sorely missed as you take your place in the "Great Bassist and Human Being HALL OF FAME........With great thanks and appreciation.......Robert Gilmore Jr.
