Amazing summer camp opportunity- apply TODAY!

The Wellness Summer Camp is a free summer program for children ages 6–12 who may benefit from extra emotional, behavioral, or social-emotional support in a structured, supportive environment. The program focuses on coping skills, confidence-building, positive peer relationships, recreation, and daily structure while still creating a fun and engaging summer experience for kids. Enrollment requires commitment to the full summer schedule (consistent attendance is required; this is not a drop-in summer camp).

Program details:

FREE of cost to families
June 23 – August 15
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided
Space is limited to 30 children this summer
Enrollment priority given to kids who receive behavioral health services or therapeutic support through Medicaid
Two in-person caregiver/parent support workshops will be offered (July & August – dates TBA)
Free transportation available for Medicaid-eligible participants with an active behavioral health diagnosis

The Cook-Wiss 5K is tomorrow (Saturday 5/9)- the race kicks off at 8:00 AM.

We are Rain or Shine! Current forecasts show the rain holding off until after the race, so it should be a great morning for a run.

Check-in & registration opens at 7AM on-site. Online registration is now closed, but in-person registration is available tomorrow morning. Join us this evening 4-7 at Philadelphia Runner for early bib pick up and a shopping event where 10% of sales go back to the HSA.

Even if you aren't running, stop by and get out of the house before the rain! We have some amazing raffles- bring cash or pay via PayPal. You can participate in the raffle, and if you have to go, we will call you if you win!
