Hairouna History

Bleu Hairouna was created in 2013. What started out as a desire to be frugal turned into a passion for knowledge. In 2008-09, Shanda had taken an interest in the Aromatherapy, while attending school for Massage Therapy. Her dream was and still is to become a certified Aromatherapist. The search for alternatives for natural skin and hair care led her to experiment with many different products; one thing she noticed was that once she stopped using commercial bath and body products her skin and hair would suffer. This revelation brought her to the realization that every label claiming to be "natural" is not always 100% natural. Growing up in a West Indian household had its advantages; taking the lessons that she learned from her parents, in regards to skin care, she applied them to her personal skin regimen. As people began to inquire about the change to her hair and skin, she made the decision to share her knowledge with the world. What started as a hobby turned into a business, as her local reputation began to grow. Shanda has brought the natural beauty of the Caribbean to you, in the form of soaps and other body products.
