April is a 3-year-old mama who was brought into the shelter with her 6 kittens after she was found giving birth to them on the finder’s porch. She is such a sweet, caring mama, and despite nursing her kittens without complications, there are only two surviving. The shelter is not the place this fragile little family needs right now. They need quiet, comfort, and the dedicated care that a foster home or rescue can provide.

Per staff: “I said hi to April this morning and she was nursing when I opened the kennel door. She didn't mind, and leaned into pets for more. Such a good mama!”
She is nursing and staying devoted to the babies she has left, but has already endured so much loss. We urgently need a foster home or rescue to give them their freedom ride. All are panleuk negative and complete medical history is attached.
