There is a system, a very well executed system the two of them have developed. I’ve been monitoring it for some time now… quietly observing, and appreciating… Emery Lou alerts… if her WOOF or BARK sound in the slightest bit of concern, he’s RIGHT THERE, next to me, alert, focused and ON GUARD. Once Emery communicates to him “threat down,” he settles into me. Are these two pups of mine babies? Yup. But something deep, very deep inside me says if push ever REALLY came to shove, this lil tripod of mine- Me, Em and My, we ride or ☠️ together… Even knowing these two are turds to the max, I don’t think either would “play” with a threat I couldn’t handle… that makes me feel good… ❤️
