Block One starts tomorrow.

Here’s what that actually means.

This block is about fundamentals.
Strength basics.
Moving well.
Building consistency.

No maxing.
No crazy volume.
No “prove it” workouts.

We’re laying a foundation so the rest of the year actually works.

Show up. Learn the movements. Get a little stronger each week. Build the habit.

That’s it.

Pivot 🌿

In September I launched Rooted and Able with five different tracks. However, after a few months now, there’s been low participation in two of the tracks. So I’ve decided to retire Clean and Called (oly) and Rooted Mama (pregnancy & pp).

This way I can stay focused on the core tracks, Rooted Strength (full gym), Everyday Able (at home) and Run the Race (endurance).

Programming alone takes a lot of time as I’m very intentional about how I build it out. Ain’t no Chat GPT here. And unfortunately, AI hasn’t been able to figure out how to upload a spreadsheet into SugarWOD for me so I’ve decided to outsource the tedious work.

Sometimes I question if it’s worth the time, but have to remember that this is another way for me to serve God. He has asked me to do this, and until He says “lay it down” I need to continue to be obedient in what He’s asked of me.

I’m gonna have to make the reel that’s going around that’s like “aren’t you embarrassed you only have a few hundred followers and still try to sell a program?” And the next text says “yes actually please like this video” 😂😂😂

Kidding, kind of. 😅 Sometimes I have to put my pride aside and remember who I’m serving. Cause He’s worth every second of my time even if I don’t earn a single penny.

All that to say - PIVOTTTT 🌿

Now we focus on core programming and less stress on my plate. Thanks for being here, for those of you who are current athletes and for giving me grace as I shift this programming to be more fit for purpose.

I cannot emphasize the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people. People who pray for you when you’re struggling, who drop dinner when the weeks been long, who are your emergency contacts at your kids school… etc.

So humbly blessed to have these women in my corner and grateful to be walking out life together.
