Did everyone enjoy the 2 days of Arizona spring we had? Summer is inching closer and closer. I have such a love hate relationship with summer. From childhood is always signaled the end of school year. Freedom, friends, and rest. Now as an adult working in an industry that parallels school, I look forward to the increased rest and relaxation. What I don’t look forward to is obviously the heat and the wasteland it becomes in the summer. Walking to your car feels like a walk on the sun. Hunkering down inside like you’re in a bomb shelter unless you need to get supplies. This summer should be quite a bit different from past summers, though and I’m looking forward to that more than I have in a long time. Here’s to new chapters in life 🍻

Apricity. The warmth of sun in the winter.

Take a moment for yourself. Everything is so fu***ng hustle bustle. Appreciate the tiny moments every day. The way fog rolls over a mountain. The way the light comes through the blinds at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon before a new week begins. The smell of orange blossoms in the spring. The last bit of blue in the sky after the sunset. The way a new song makes you feel. Take a breath.

Our nice little hike started off pretty cloudy and gloomy but towards the end the sun decided to make an appearance. Golden hour combined with the changing leaves, name a better combo.
