Valued at $5,000, this scholarship is awarded to graduating BASIS Charter Schools Seniors who display academic excellence in the development and ex*****on of their Senior Projects.

After carefully reviewing this year’s impressive project submissions, winners were selected by Peter Bezanson, CEO and Co-Chairman of BASIS Educational Ventures, and Patti Bezanson, Co-Chairman of BASIS Educational Ventures.

Today, Mr. Caparula, our enthusiastic 6th grade Chemistry teacher, and his duck Azzy embarked on an exciting adventure to Scottsdale! 🦆✨

They visited the Museum of Illusions, where they experienced mind-bending exhibits that challenge perception and reality. From optical illusions to interactive displays, it's a place that sparks curiosity and creativity!

🦋 After the museum, they hopped over to Butterfly Wonderland, a magical indoor rainforest filled with thousands of beautiful butterflies. 🌺 It's not just a feast for the eyes but also an opportunity to learn about these amazing creatures and their ecosystems. Both amazing places to visit for anyone looking to mix fun with learning!

🦆📚 Ms. Receveur and her duck (that is currently nameless) are teaching summer school at BASIS Chandler Primary South!

Can't wait to see what fun things they do! From engaging lessons to playful interactions, it’s sure to be a memorable summer for all the students.
