Every class starts with a proper warm-up, and we keep the academy warm to help our students stay loose, move better, and reduce the risk of injury.

Some schools even keep the temperature above 90 😅🥵

Our Summer Belt Promotion Ceremony is this Thursday 6/4/2026! Class Schedule will mostly remain the same that day: Kids 1 at 3:30p, Kids 2 at 4:30p, Juniors at 5:30p, & Adults at 6:30p. Each class will start off with promotions, after which we’ll take a team photo, then finish class with some sparring.

We’re going to have the Ice Cream Pedaler here at 5pm with pre-paid (free) treats for the kiddos. This vendor offers a mix of fruit pops and ice cream sandwiches. They were here for our last promotion ceremony and the treats were delicious! We just ask that each child only takes one serving so that each of our kid’s classes can enjoy.

Jiu jitsu is more than learning how to control a partner. It’s also learning what to do when someone else is trying to control you.

Our students spend time developing both sides of the equation: applying techniques with control and precision, while also learning how to stay calm, defend, escape, and problem solve under pressure.

Every class helps build confidence, resilience, and the ability to think through challenges one step at a time. 💪🥋
