The Abstract Aquarius

“Charismatic Valentine” is a piece that I spent the last few weeks working on. It really brought me back to some of my favorite painting techniques.

Today being Valentine’s Day, and My Birthday, I figured that this was the best time to officially post this.

My creativity took a hit in 2024 while I focused on some personal things. I'm pushing myself to get things back on track in 2025, starting with this piece.

At 18x24 in, this piece is an Untitled work that I'm calling “Untitled No33". To make this involved adding texture to the canvas, blending, and some other techniques that l've been trying out.

Here's to more painting in 2025 🥂

This piece is took almost 4 hours to make.

I wanted the color Blue to be the focus of this painting, and I think I think I captured that 😆. After lots of laying and paint mixing, this is the final result.

“Too Blue” is the name that I’ve decided to call this piece. Let me know what you think!

“Overnight Flight” is a piece that I painted this past weekend. It started with Blue, and the rest just happened.
