In certain lighting like bathroom lighting or direct sunlight, your underlying hair pigments will become exposed which is the warmth you see.

Im always asked why I choose this piece of decor and where i placed it. I loved the meaning behind it, I was 💯 intentional where I placed it. And those who haven’t had the pleasure to see it, here you go. Its said in Native American culture, the white deer is representative to great fortune, purity and sacredness. There’s many more reasons, but these are mostly my reasons for its existence. Plus its looks great.

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted wonderful pictures of amazing human beings. Our world has changed me, through difficult circumstances and hard decisions. My mind, views and thoughts have been provoked and challenged. As a hairdresser that was trained to groom beautiful people sitting in my chair, I never thought I would be triggered so easily from what Covid brought out in humanity. And how I can easily judge someone by asking them to wear a mask, and what may follow after. I think to myself, how did I get so disconnected from reality. I had to reconnect to what was important to me. Well I asked myself, if I had to walk away from my business to protect the health of others, family, friends/clients or in simple terms “humans”. The answer was “yes”. This recalibrated my heaviness and mindset. I’ve learned to lean into the awkward, and what I was able to see was that so many of us were in patterns of defensive behavior. So my stance on all of what I learned to this point, is I’m here for you outside of being your stylist that want to open up and share your trauma and support you through yours .I am your listening board to help. Stay safe.
