We’re honored to host our Book Study: Maya & Aztec Teachings of Wellness featuring Nine Seasons: Beyond 2012: A Manual of Ancient Aztec & Maya Wisdom by Carlos Aceves 📚✨
This meaningful collaboration between our Amanecer Prevention Program and the Healthy Aging program is creating a space where generations come together to reconnect with ancestral knowledge rooted in healing, balance, and cultural identity.
Through this powerful book, participants explore traditional teachings around food as medicine, spiritual wellness, and living in harmony—reminding us that La Cultura Cura. From shared reflections to enjoying herbal remedies like jamaica tea, this experience is about more than learning—it’s about reclaiming wisdom and strengthening community.
Seeing our elders and community members engaged in this journey is a beautiful reminder that our traditions continue to guide and uplift us across generations ❤️
