In this 6 week series we will be focusing on movement, meditation, visualization and breathwork (otherwise known as qigong) to help alchemize stress and restore balance.

For those of you that are new to Qigong:

Qigong is an ancient gentle practice that offers healing support and preventative care for a myriad of issues that pertain to physical, mental and emotional conditions. It focuses on releasing stagnant blocked energy and works to increase the healthy flow of energy and expand the auric field through movement, breath, visualization and meditation. If you have been to other qigong classes you can expect something a little different from me. I like to allow things to be light hearted and playful while also creating space for you to go deeply inward as you enter into the moving meditation portion of the practice followed by a savasana style guided meditation to allow yourself to completely let go and receive.

Donations are not expected but are greatly appreciated and accepted with an abundance of love and gratitude.

πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ From 9-10a, Nicole will be subbing for my class and guiding us thru a new fusion of Qigong and Kundalini Yoga. Qigong is an ancient Chinese healing practice that known as β€œthe master of one's energy”. The kriyas in kundalini yoga are a specific set of exercises that generate energy, organize that energy and deliver you to a specific energetic state β€” particularly one of greater awareness.
From 10-11a, Claudia will take us on a Nidra Yoga journey, also known as yogic sleep. The purpose of Yoga Nidra is to guide you through the three states in which the body exists (A-U-M) into the silent awareness of our true nature, which exists beyond the body. Yoga Nidra allows us to rest into the space where our true Self lives beyond the body and the mind.

🎁Class is donation based, so donations are greatly appreciated and can be made in cash or via Nicole’s Venmo account . Suggested $10 donation.

⏰ Please arrive early to allow time for finding the park, finding our yoga zone, and getting set up. Practice begins at 9am.
