Joining him was supposed to be the former co-hosts of “Falls Count Anywhere With Youngblood and Manny,” but instead, is going to feature the returning Brandon Youngblood , and “Captain Awesome” Dan Freet . In part one of the discussion, the three guys break down their thoughts on the non-WWE wrestling promotions in the United States including New Japan, Ring of Honor, NXT, TNA, and AEW while sharing their thoughts on what they like, what they don’t, who to watch, how the products can improve and more.

In this volume of “Shot Glass Diaries,” Ian visits the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas to see his favorite baseball team, the Atlanta Braves take on the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field in Arlington. While there, Ian toured Globe Life Field and AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys), went on a walking food tour in Deep Ellum, saw the world’s biggest eyeball, sampled the food at the Crossroads, and more! 14 years ago this month, the world lost who I described as “the best friend I’ll ever have” at his funeral: my cousin, Jesse. This post and song is a tribute to him. The first time I saw was with him, my late wife, Amy (who was my girlfriend at the time) and my sister. When he died, I listened to this song, “Without You,” a lot. It makes me think of him every time I hear it so I decided to figure out how to play in on my mom’s old piano on which I was taught to play as a kid.
While I’ve done a lot of living since then, there’s still so much I remember about him. How he was the first to show up and the last to leave every party I ever threw. How Mandy Moore was his first celebrity crush. Sliding down muddy grass at his house when it rained. Skipping rocks and fishing in our grandfather’s pond and the time I accidentally hooked him in the mouth. Sharing our thoughts on the new Foo Fighters CD on AOL instant messenger. The New Year’s Eve party I cancelled because of Amy’s health and forgot to tell him - leading to be the last time I’d ever see him alive. I could go on until instagram tells me I’ve reached a character limit.
I love you man. Still do. And miss you. This one’s for you.
